What a Weekend!

With a thousand Americans and Canadians gathering at the Peace Arch in Blaine on Saturday, it was a gorgeous day to kick off the 4 Days of Action that led to the signing of the International Treaty to Protect the Sacredness of the Salish Sea. Thanks so much to all who joined us!

Sarra Tekola’s speech:

Then, on Sunday, many of the same folks came out again, for the Seattle People’s Climate March–which garnered nearly 2000 people.

Thanks so much to all who made either event, and especially to those who made both, and dedicated their whole weekend to catalyzing climate action in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

(thanks to Michael Wheatley for the Blaine photos, and Mike Hitchner for the Seattle photos!)
