Salish Sea Day of Action

Salish Sea Day of Action

The Salish Sea needs our protection!

Have the images of grieving and malnourished orcas touched you on a deep level? Have you been impacted by this summer’s smoky skies? We have, too – and that’s why we’re joining with folks from across the Salish Sea to speak up for the water, and all the living beings that depend on it.

From Olympia all the way up to the Gulf Islands and Vancouver, BC, communities are preparing to show the Salish Sea some love on September 15th. You can advocate for the creatures living in the Salish Sea, participate in a beach cleanup, meditate and chant mantras on the beach, attend a community feast and dance with live music, and hear stories from activists arrested while protesting the Kinder Morgan TransMountain pipeline expansion.

Join an action to stand up for the Salish Sea at one of the many events around the bioregion.
