Community Resilience

Community Resilience

Community Resilience is dedicated to the basic needs of our community. It focuses on taking care of individuals, which we see not as a luxury, but as essential.

“Our liberation rests on the foundation of our own well-being.” -Leticia Nieto

The Community Resilience team plans to offer:
  • Support groups – i.e. climate hope support
  • A Wellness Team – i.e. Activist Resource List (local practitioners offering sliding scale health services) and self-care workshops
  • Housing – We’re compiling a list of people within our community who have rooms for rent (for activists) or for free (for activists).
  • Skill support – We’re also compiling a list of people offering other support: i.e. carpentry, gardening, etc… and making sure our broader community knows they can contribute and/or donate their time in this way.
If you’re interested in being on our email list for upcoming support groups for climate change, you want to participate in the building of the workgroup, or you’re just curious, please email Alexandra Blakely.
